Rooney expected to start against Chelsea

Sir Alex Ferguson will play Wayne Rooney from the start against Chelsea on Sunday.

He played 72 minutes against Sporting Lisbon last on Wednesday, his first game since suffering a metatarsal injury in the first game of the season.


After the 1-0 victory, Ferguson said: “It was difficult to measure how long we kept Wayne on the pitch, but as soon as we scored I decided it was time to get Louis [Saha] ready.

“Wayne will be better for his minutes on the clock and I’m sure he’ll be ready for Sunday.”

    Chelsea are gonna be shitting themselves with all thats gone on in their camp this week!
