Rooney sits out Champ league semi

Wayne Rooney, along with team mate Nemanja Vidic had to be left out of the squad to play Barcelona in the second leg of the champions league semi-final since they had not recovered from injuries they sustained against Chelsea last weekend.

United, however still won the game with a single goal from a 25 yard Paul Scholes strike. Ferguson has now promised to play him in the final.

    Rooney is such a fantastic footballer to me. but as a serious note, i am really concerned that Rooney should extent atleast a helping hand to the suffering especially East Africa Uganda. God gave him the tallent not only to benefit him but to serve the rest of other places where people think Rooney can reach. Very greatfull if he does this, he will prosper not only infotball, but as well on the side of humanitarian ground. others may insult me for this but thats my view just as i do love Rooney
